🎄 Historic Christmas Celebration Unites Sentul Community: "Majlis Krismas Madani Batu” on December 16, 2023
Event Highlights:
Carnival Extravaganza: The festivities will kick off with a vibrant carnival starting at 2 pm, featuring over 30 stalls offering a delightful array of cookies, cakes, bags, clothing, and Christmas ornaments.
Street Caroling Spectacle: Experience the joy of
Christmas as hundreds of carolers march down the streets, singing heartwarming
Christmas carols. The procession will begin at St James Anglican Church at
Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, continue to St Joseph Catholic Church, and culminate
at Sentul Boulevard.
Distinguished Participants: Joining the carolers for
this groundbreaking street caroling event will be Bishop Jeyakumar, Bishop of
the Methodist Church of Malaysia; Archbishop Julian Leow, Archbishop for the
Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur; YB Teresa Kok; and YB Prabakaran. The Boys'
Brigade from Grace Methodist Church Sentul, Wesley International School, and
Serdang will lead the marching band, adding a vibrant musical element to the
celebration.
Evening Stage Performances: As the day progresses,
the celebration will transition to a mesmerizing stage performance by all
participating churches, commencing at 7 pm. Expect cultural shows, dance
performances, music bands, and a rendition of classic carols that showcase the
rich diversity and talent within the Sentul community.
Theme: "Gift of Love"
This year's Christmas celebration revolves around the theme
"Gift of Love." As the Christian community commemorates the birth of
Jesus Christ, the Sentul community extends a warm invitation to everyone to
join in the festivities and celebrate the spirit of love and togetherness.

About the Organizers:
Pusat Bantuan Sentul (PBS) has been serving the Sentul
and Batu Community since 1987. It is one
of the oldest charity organisations serving the community in the area. PBS works closely with churches, other
religious bodies, corporate organisations to lend a hand to the member of the
